Representatives of the University and the partner organization at the working session
At the meeting, Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong, Representative of Intel Products Vietnam, introduced the ecosystem of the Intel Digital Readiness Program, a global initiative aimed at enhancing digital capabilities and access to emerging technologies for communities, educational institutions, and the workforce. The ecosystem comprises multiple components, including AI for Citizens, AI for Youth, AI for Current Workforce, as well as digital transformation training programs for leaders. These initiatives have been widely implemented by Intel across the Asia–Pacific region.
Notably, the AI for Future Workforce program was identified by Intel as the key focus of cooperation with UNETI. This is a comprehensive training program consisting of 42 modules with a total duration of 248 learning hours, designed for students and post-secondary learners, with no prior background in programming or mathematics required. The program equips learners with a systematic foundation of knowledge and in-depth skills in artificial intelligence, covering areas such as Python programming, data analytics, machine learning and deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, IoT, and Generative AI.
Learners are provided with hands-on experience in deploying AI models on Intel’s technology platforms, including OpenVINO and oneAPI, and are required to complete highly practical projects closely aligned with real-world demands.
With its modern structure and competency-based orientation, the AI for Future Workforce program is expected to significantly enhance the quality of digital human resource training, meeting labor market demands in the context of accelerating digital transformation.

Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong – Director of Government Affairs, Intel Products Vietnam, delivering remarks at the program
In his response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quang emphasized that the University of Economics – Technology for Industries (UNETI) has always attached great importance to the application of artificial intelligence in education and is committed to the goal of making AI an integral component of students’ academic programs. The University aspires to gradually integrate Intel’s AI courses into the official curriculum, while simultaneously organizing training programs for staff at all levels—from senior leadership to lecturers and professional officers—to ensure that human resources are adequately equipped to access, adopt, and operate emerging technologies.
He also affirmed UNETI’s strong desire to become an official partner of Intel, through which the University’s core staff would be able to acquire advanced knowledge, disseminate a spirit of innovation, and promote the widespread application of AI technologies within the learner community.
During the discussion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quang raised several key questions regarding infrastructure requirements, implementation conditions, certification mechanisms, training quotas for core personnel, and the duration and scope of program integration into academic training. These considerations are expected to provide UNETI with a solid basis for balancing resources and developing a feasible and effective implementation plan.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quang – Vice President of UNETI delivering remarks at the program
The working session opened up promising prospects for cooperation between UNETI and Intel in the implementation of the AI for Future Workforce program, the training of core personnel, the development of AI-related modules within academic curricula, and the establishment of an AI application ecosystem in education and research. Both parties agreed to continue in-depth discussions, with a view toward the formalization of an official partnership agreement in the near future.
