Office of Admissions, Communications, and External Relations

1. History and Development:

The Office of Admissions, Communications, and External Relations was established under Decision No. 316/QĐ-ĐHKTKTCN dated April 3, 2025, issued by the President of the University of Economics – Technology for Industries, through the merger of the Office of Admissions & Communications and the Center for International Cooperation.

2. Achievements

In recent years, admissions activities for universities and colleges in general have faced many challenges. However, under the close attention and guidance of the Party Committee, the University Council, and the Board of Rectors, the recruitment of learners and students at the Master’s and regular undergraduate levels has consistently achieved strong results. Communication activities and university website management have been effectively implemented by the office, with information on the activities of the University leadership and its units being promptly and accurately updated on the university website at www.en.uneti.edu.vn.

External relations, international cooperation, and university–industry collaboration have been strengthened and expanded, contributing to enhancing the University’s reputation and supporting its strategic goal of becoming one of the leading application-oriented universities nationwide by 2030. The University has successfully implemented faculty and student exchange programs, academic exchanges, and joint training collaborations with numerous prestigious institutes, universities, and educational organizations worldwide and across the region. These partnerships have opened opportunities for UNETI students to access advanced education systems such as those of the United States, the Russian Federation, Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan, enabling them to experience multicultural learning environments, enhance professional knowledge and foreign language proficiency, and develop global competencies.

University–industry cooperation has been actively coordinated, expanded, and effectively connected with leading domestic and international corporations and enterprises, including Canon, Samsung, Toyota, Huawei, Foxconn, Quanta, Pegatron, Flamingo, among others. These partnerships serve as solid “launching pads,” enabling UNETI students not only to acquire strong theoretical foundations but also to gain practical experience, accumulate professional working skills, and seize attractive career opportunities immediately after graduation.

With its established tradition and achievements, the collective staff of the Office of Admissions, Communications, and External Relations has consistently been recognized as an Outstanding Task-Performing Unit and a Clean and Strong Party Cell. One hundred percent of its staff members have achieved the title of Advanced Laborer, while many individuals have been awarded the title of University-level Emulation Fighter, as well as Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade and the title of Industry and Trade Emulation Fighter.
