The National Conference VNICT 2025 takes place at the University of Economics – Technology for Industries

On November 15, 2025, the University of Economics – Technology for Industries, in coordination with the Institute of Information Technology – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, solemnly organized the 28th National Conference “Selected Issues in Information and Communication Technology” (VNICT 2025) at the Ninh Binh campus.

The conference is an annual forum for researchers, practitioners, lecturers, and managers in the field of information and communication technology to exchange academic ideas, share practical application experiences, and seek opportunities for research collaboration, training, and technological application in practice. In particular, the conference encourages young scientists, doctoral candidates, and postgraduate students to participate and present their research and study outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quang – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee – Vice President of the University of Economics – Technology for Industries expressed his gratitude and emphasized the significance of the Conference in the context of current information technology development. Hosting VNICT 2025 is a great honor for the University of Economics – Technology for Industries; this is not only an opportunity for the University to contribute to an event of profound academic significance, but also a chance for UNETI to learn, exchange knowledge, engage in cultural exchange, expand linkages with all partner companies, and be widely introduced to scientific communities nationwide. UNETI is oriented to be an application-oriented university operating under a comprehensive autonomy mechanism, offering multidisciplinary training, in which many fields have become strengths and trademarks of the University. He expressed his belief that high-quality papers, feasible scientific proposals, and open exchanges at the conference would contribute practical solutions and make meaningful contributions to the development of science and technology of the country.

At the beginning of the Plenary Session of the Conference, delegates and invited guests listened to two presentations, including: Presentation 1: “National Sovereign AI Necessity and Execution” presented by expert Nguyen Huu Hai Hoang, Solutions Specialist of Huawei Technologies Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Presentation 2: “Developing sovereign and responsible AI and controlled blockchain applications for national digital sovereignty” presented by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Tuan, Deputy Head of the Data Management Division, National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security;

The exchanges and discussions took place enthusiastically, bringing significant academic value and opening up new research directions in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
